The goals that I have for my Level 3 project are these:

1. Keep it simple.
2. Minimize the cost of the project.
2. Scratch build most of the rocket.
3. Meet my deadline to launch at LDRS28.(July 2009)

As part of my plan to keep thing simple and to keep the cost low, the rocket will be built from 6” Sonotube, that will be glassed for strength. Since typically the nosecone is one of the more expensive parts of a large rockets, mine will be constructed from foamboard glued together and turned on a lathe and then glassed. Fins will be constructed from 1/2” Baltic Birch and will also be tip to tip
glassed for strength .
